Daniel & Huldah (Topham)

The Census of 1851 makes the following report on Daniel and Huldah:

Daniel Larley - Head of House - 34 - French - Farmer

Huldah - Wife - 27 - Native

Sarah Topham - widow - 60 - Native

Stephen Emonds - son - 34 - Native

Daniel Larlee built his home where the CPR vaiduct Is.  When the track was built, he moved his home down town. In 1977 It was Harold Pirie's home.  Daniel ran a carding and wool mill at the mouth of the Hudd Brook, near the store of his brother Elijah.  He also ran a ferry across the river to the Beveridge Wharf at Andover.

The Manly Craig ms says that both Daniel and Huldah are buried In Larlee Creek Cemetery; they had no children, but adopted Carrier Herbert
